Heart Beats

Eclectic, eccentric, and fun are some words that describe KR3TURE (“Creature”), a multi-instrumentalist & producer from the mountains of Santa Cruz, CA. By blending live instruments with deep bass, KR3TURE makes powerful & emotive music that is positive, gritty, and heartfelt. He creates his own signature sound of soulful and sublime bass music, making bodies move & spirits lift. His live performances are full of energy and excitement as he improvises on guitar and sax, often getting down to dance with the audience.

Radio Gatsby is a premier San Francisco event and dance band that performs unique interpretations of 1920s & Speakeasy Jazz, Big Band Swing, Motown, R&B, Disco, 80s, 90s, & Contemporary Pop. The band features a select group of top Bay Area jazz musicians and vocalists and performs at private functions, concerts, & dance events.

Mah Ze Tar is a musical fusion project by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Maz Karandish. This project was propelled by the vision of fusing traditional Eastern music with modern electronic composition as a form of cultural preservation.

Justin Ancheta and Maren Metke have musical nectar flowing through their veins. Honey of the Heart is an ambrosial mix of musical interpretations influenced by folk, soul, roots, and world/flamenco styles. Many of their songs come forth like ancient incantations, casting angelic spells on all in their path. Honey of the Heart weaves soaring harmonies and hypnotic polyrhythms into an alchemical semblance of groove intended for dancing, rejoicing, and blissful recalibration.

Soul-Funk

San Francisco-based artist and anthropologist Jaleh Lauren Bjelde, known for fronting the soul-funk ensemble Royal Jelly Jive, continues her evolution through a solo project under the moniker Jaleh. This performance features a fusion of live instrumentation and soul-driven vocals set against dancy, rhythmic beats. Her current work under Moonshade Records integrates a blend of “Jaleh mysticism” and high-energy textures into a modern live experience.

Open Heart Poetry

A lifelong poet and mystic, oshan hosted a weekly poetry night for 3 years at his San Francisco teahouse Om Shan Tea. Later, while serving a 7½ year prison sentence for psychedelics, Oshan designed a course on Mysticism Through Poetry, which he taught 6 times to more than one hundred inmates. Oshan will share mystical poetry to awaken the heart.

Marcel Surreal

Heart Beats

Born into a musical family, Sly & the Family Stone, Marcel is a dancer and DJ who incorporates live afro-based percussion into sets spanning electronic, world music, and deep tech. He has performed at global ecstatic dance events from Tulum to Tel-Aviv and held residencies at Days Like This in Oakland and Open House in Los Angeles. Marcel draws on his background in breaking and house to curate movement-focused sets for his event series, “Dance to the Music.”

Caroluna’s debut album, “Sacred Love Songs,” composed in Raga Yaman Kalyan, is a devotional cycle of songs inspired by the mystical poetry of Rumi, Hafiz, St Teresa, Mirabai, and others.
